cloud computing

In modern-day businesses, we need a huge space to maintain our data and store them. Day by day the need increases and we lack the facility of maintaining such bulk. Cloud computing can be known as a turning point to these needs as it is feasible for doing the complex tasks ever before and can also be known as a shift from the traditional way on how businesses think about IT resources.

Before getting into deep, it is better to know what is cloud computing? Simply it can be answered as the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet which acts as a platform to store, networking, database-related activities and also process data and manage them in a virtual cloud rather than a localized computer or a server.

This technology can be divided into three main types. Not every cloud technique will suit everyone and not every technique plays the same role. Before we implement a cloud service in an organization we need to identify the right architecture. Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and the Hybrid Cloud can be known as the basic deployment methods.

· Public cloud — the services are operated and owned by a third party cloud service providers. They offer resources like storage facilities and server operations over the internet. The best example can be called Microsoft Azure. The peripherals and other software applications are operated and maintained by them while the relative businesses only have access to those services.

· Private cloud — where a business operates its cloud services which are only specific to that business. These businesses use their private networks to handle the services. VMware, Dell EMC, and Red Hat can be called as few examples for this.

· Hybrid cloud — where the public and the private cloud used in conjunction and the data and applications are shared among the clouds. This increases the flexibility of the organization and gives the organization the space to run their operations efficiently.

Regardless of the types of cloud, we have the services offered by cloud computing which can be mainly divided into three categories.

Tune on for my next article to dip in about the service categories of cloud computing!.
